Look around you. I'll be upbeat when we start taking common sense actions to address the long term issues we have, instead of putting our heads in the sand and pretending that we have no problems to address. The first thing you need to learn is we humans never do things really well the first time. We screw up constantly, until the solutions slap us in the face so hard we can't ignore them. Until then we live in denial. The second thing you have to learn is humility. Nobody I know on this thread has their "heads in the sand and pretending that we have no problems to address". Bull shit MM. You're being an asshole dismissing serious people with serious opinions, because you somehow think you're smarter or more intuitive than anyone else on this thread. We've all got opinions about how we should move forward. Respect that. Listen. You might learn something. Einstein built the special theory of relativity on a comment he heard from a friend at lunch.
