I do think the Heritage Study I Posted to John was worth reading both for the trends it disclosed in its data and its recommendation that welfare women not lose thier benfits if they marry.

I heartily agree with that recommendation. One of the great faults of the system was the "man in the house" rule. If a man was present, welfare benefits disappeared.

But the clear point of the study, as read from the abstract, was not that recommendation. Rather it was to blame the victims. It's all the fault of single parent homes.
