Plus his precedent of asking Congress to vote on these kinds of limited strikes is going to handicap any future president as well. This may turn out to be a good thing as I think that all of these cruise missile strikes are getting out of hand, but this precedent will certainly diminished the power of the Presidency going forward.


Oh, I don't disagree with that at all. It's a horrible precedent. But, I think the alternative is worse.

The chemical weapons are terrible. But I'm not convinced that it was Assad. And the actions of the FSA are flat out horrific all by themselves.

Maybe it's time for the world to get a front row seat to the atrocities that are performed by both sides of the muslim coin without outside intervention. It may have a tragic short term result, but perhaps there will be a positive long term outcome.
