I need to find the exact configuartion of these video servers, but it may have something to do with the multicasting feature that Brocade talks about in their whitepapers. I think they have a figure of a server sending video to three or four different nodes. Multicasting is actually a feature of the FC standards.

I think the potential here is also very large. As I think about it, it offers anyone in the video business a quick way to send custom video streams. Who know - in the future video stores will be replaced and you will be able to get any movie you want sent to your home from an FC server.

Phillips has competing technology and I can't tell if it is FC-based or not.

Any video engineers out there?
