LOL! If the standard for "mean" is how politicians treat other politicians during a confirmation process, then aren't all politicians, regardless of party, "mean"? Look at what liberals did to Clarence Thomas. That is the epitome of "mean". How about what was done to Sarah Palin? I think that this falls into the category of "he is mean because he is conservative".
