try throwing a few CEO's in jail for 20 years in a real prison and you'll see wall st. crimes drop overnight.
We have been doing that to drug dealers for 50 years, and the only result is a boom in prison construction. Drug dealers are just businessmen who evaluate the risk-reward balance and make their choices. Why do you think other businesses would behave differently?

Those who are guilty of crimes should be in jail, but I do not share your faith in its deterrence value.
