I am far from hard right conservative actually despise them but am just your pragmatic realist like fellow poster BUTW here.

You say that but you use the same arguments as hard right conservatives on FAMD and you have many of their same biases. So are you a pragmatic realist or someone who is in denial?

We've got 50M on the dole now its a HUGE problem so many lose the incentive to work anymore. I see too many on disability, section 8, food stamps in their 30's and 40's that are healthy and able bodied (most are white BTW) in my daily business dealings in everything goes FL. Can't imagine how bad it is in the hoods down here these days. Not sure if that even includes the 4M vets that will need constant assistance from our government too for the rest of their lives

Only 4 million Americans are on welfare. The 50 million figure you cite include welfare, food stamp and unemployment insurance recipients. The vast majority of those people are working.......they just don't earn enough to survive. Maybe we need to stop making them into scapegoats and figure why corps are unwilling to pay a living wage.
