FL or TX are choices to escape the overbearing taxes in NJ.
NJ is one of only a couple States that have both Estate AND
Inheritance taxes. Also, Property taxes are very high. TX has
no Income Tax only Sales Tax. TX Property Taxes are <1/2 of NJs.

I actually worked in No. Dallas for a few years '98-'01. Sort of know what
to expect there. About 1/2 of Texans are still fighting the Civil War (ugh!),
but the other 1/2 were OK (Christians?). More nutcases per acre there
too, so I might fit in !! If you keep to yourself, you'll do fine.

Hope to get back into my Photography hobby after retirement. My
college roommate, a photographer, lived in Taos, NM. Unfortunately,
he died in a MC accident in '00, so we can't go photo shooting anymore.
Scenics are my preference, but anything interesting will do.

The AT is the Appalachian Trail. 2010 miles of up/down... very little
field hiking.

I expect to have a full day in Hershey on the 11th. All the major RV
vendors are there for 4-5 days. Hope I don't run into old gfs there ! LOL
If anyone wants brochures from a specific vendor, LMK.

Later.

Woody
