1. We will see but that's definitely a fair concern. Nothing is guarantee, all we can do is guess.

2. It's mixed of old and new patents. Augment reality, flexible phone... Nokia phones weren't selling well but they didn't stop R&D.

3. NAVTEQ is still the primary mapdata provider in the world. The other one is TeleAtlas. Google has huge potential too, in fact Google decision to stop license from NAVTEQ and build its own is the primary reason for the write-off of NAVTEQ goodwill. The point is Navteq has been written off. So from now on, it is just a money cow.

4. That is true for any company.

I am not saying Nokia will definitely move up from here but I don't see a lot of downside from $5 with all the cash and the poison division sold to Microsoft.
