"I understand you think a society of moochers is a good thing."

LOL! Of course I don't, you moron.

I'd like to see welfare made less comfortable, more visible, and less socially acceptable.

I think we should build barracks-style housing, like our current homeless shelters, but with enough capacity so that no one would be turned away, as with our current homeless shelters. Barracks would be separated by sexes and a separate one or two for kids of different ages. Kids would be bused to school in the day.

Eliminate food stamps. If a family needed food, they could move into one of the shelters. Food would be provided by the facility, in cafeterias. Common areas would be provided so families could get together when not sleeping. Give everyone access to common phones and internet, and encourage them to look for work.
Provide them with an address and phone number with someone to answer and get them. Assist them in getting to work.

From having provided several homeless people a room in my house upon getting a job, I know that living in those conditions is not fun, easy or something anyone wants to put up with a moment longer than necessary. As it should be.
