That's a non-proposal. If charities and individuals did the job, there wouldn't BE a problem, would there? But they don't. So, the problem exists, and Republicans propose NOTHING to answer it.


The problem got worse when the government got involved. By your logic, if government welfare did the job, there wouldn't be a problem, would there.

GOVERNMENT WELFARE DOESN"T WORK!!!! IT MAKES IT WORSE!!!

The government cannot solve all problems. There will always be some poverty. There will always be some homelessness.

The liberal solution is to throw more and more money at it and it never gets better no matter how much money is thrown at the problem. This should be a hint that the entire premise is wrong.

At some point, liberals need to understand that individuals have a responsibility to look after their own best interests and to not be dependent on others to survive. It doesn't work any other way.
