why just impose this divine inference/interferrence & intervention only selectively? The answer is ID isn't even about proclaiming divine intervention. It's about admitting that intelligent design is for some things, the most rational explanation. You are free, like your fellow leftist non-believers, to believe in super powerful space aliens as the intelligent designers if you wish. I'll think you're wrong of course.
