Not sure if this is the place to post this but here goes.

I do most of my surfing and posting on SI on a first gen. iPad.

Used to be I could highlight a portion of a post I want to reply to by holding my finger on the screen and selecting and copying the text. I'd then paste it into a post using the quote balloon.

For some time now, that has not worked. Have not been able to highlight text in posts (I can highlight text that I type in the reply window).

Suggestions?
