It is a horrible assumption. Had France not played paper tiger for Hitler, there would never have been world war in the 1930's. This is a very dangerous ploy.

I can't stress enough how much Obama needs to formulate a clear and comprehensive policy to inform the World about where America stands, for his own good as well as the rest of us. At this point he is being accused of everything from being an Al-Qaeda Operative to Bumbleclot... in fact, some people are accusing him of being both, and it could get much worse.

We threaten dire consequences, then follow up with hints? That is our foriegn policy?
