Called the company. Investor relation (Dell Gibson) could not give me a specific reason for the rise, either. He did say that they have been talking with various brokers about their company and have had a positive response about the potential for their technology.

I asked him about the financial situation of the company and he said they're sound and should have plenty of cash for research.

Their research is progressing nicely and good data is expected around March or April.

I asked him about the difference between his and GERON's technology. He said CYGS has a patent on a specific way to introduce genetic material into a cell by using a viral vector so that a specific segment of the telomere is repaired/replaced when this is needed so that cell senescence is inhibited.

SOUNDS GREAT TO ME. Not bad for a penny stock. What the hell, hold it in my IRA and come in a few years.
