It is simply wonderful that Microsoft has been able to acquire Nokia's crown jewels.

I know that MS will treat Nokia's Finnish engineering staff very well, MS makes the Ethisphere list every year for a reason. And Nokia's world renown designs and quality will absolutely create best-of-breed Microsoft Windows Phones for the indefinite future.

Nokia phone design puts Samsung to complete and utter shame, and their build quality and durability is consistently better than Apple's.

These are indeed exciting times.

If Microsoft can't keep the Nokia name, I do hope the new phone division name reflects something about the incredible legacy Microsoft is inheriting in this transaction and the design sensibilities that comes with it... perhaps a Finnish name,
