There are still tribes in all of the countries that I mentioned. They might not roam the deserts together but they are still a fabric of society of each of the countries I mentioned. It was not just in antiquity. Lebanon is the only ME country that I can not comment on having tribes or not. Wiki discusses the demographics for Libya and Syria. With Libya, they talk about tribes; with Syria, they discuss ethnic groups: en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org If you still think Syria has tribes, we will have to agree to disagree.
