Thanks! Your post tells me if I did hire a guide, I'd need to be very clear (and insistent) about what I want to do and see. To be honest with you, not having such a specific goal as taking first class photographs, I'd probably be happy as a clam to just see a few movie sets. I'm particularly interested in the John Ford sets.

Monument Valley is our first experience with the Navajo Nation, and it was a good one because we had little to no interaction with the people. I hope we can return to that area and see Canyon de Chelly, and Antelope Canyon, as well as a few other locations...........like Arches. I'd like to go to Capital Reef, and also spend more time at Grand Mesa. We only got to spend 12 hours there. And we had a dog, so didn't get to do any of the hikes at Zion or any other park. I'd at least like to do the Emerald Pools trail at Zion.
