Tbevan, Thanks for posting that summary of your conversation with Kimberly Toney. It is encouraging that the company has a plausible story for next year. The only other encouraging fact is that Amber is in this mess too. They must see something here (though with the temporary suspension of 3" drive production its getting much harder to see anything good happening...) The technical description of the new 6.4 Gig drive is impressive. They are getting 6.4 gigs on three platters without using MR technology. In my opinion their combination of prices and specs are better than anyone elses out there right now, but Fujitso is very close, and they have deep pockets. Samsung is scary as hell also. Just being technically better is not going to be enough. I expect to see a rally on the stock price in January, once the end of the year selloff to take tax writeoffs is over with. Though by "rally" I mean back up to the 50 cent levels. This of course assumes that the latest quarterly announcement is nowhere near as bad as the last one (shouldn't be, they don't have to write off the transfer to the Champion drives again...) Comments anyone?
