They forget sometimes that the Iraq War started out as a "little bit of war". Bigger than a cruise missile attack, for sure. But they have taken more than a few shots at Bush for his "Mission Accomplished" banner only weeks after the Iraq War began. Ten years later, it a "defining moment" according to Obama when the last troops came out.

A "little bit of war" can turn into a lot of war overnight. I think the Left are being led down the primrose path when they assume a standoff war, like Kosovo, will always work out so easily.
