LOL! Not as obvious as all that! I can recall several memorable examples of testing in production, and have grey hairs to prove it. What do we mean by "testing", anyway? Because if we really tested all the possible combinations of conditions, there wouldn't be enough time in the history of the universe...ah, let's not go there.
