One more comment - even with an Intel agreement, I don't think fonix would be anywhere close to $10 today. I've followed some of the other companies that Intel has partnered with, and I'm not aware of any that have doubled that quickly. Rambus, ETEC, and MRV Communications are the best examples of a positive "Intel effect", and these companies had MUCH more solid balance sheets than fonix. Can't even be considered comparable. I do agree that fonix stock would get a significant pop, but perhaps $7 or 8 (i.e., 50% increase), not a quick double. All speculative, of course; it does seem likely that Intel took a good hard look and passed on fonix.
