I'm doing everything in my power to avoid spinal fusion. So far, so good, but I do have flair ups occasionally that literally put me on my back. My doc tells me fusion is a 50-50 proposition, so I'm hoping I'll never have to know where I fall in the equation.

Hope Sally improves to the point she forgets she was ever in pain.
