I'd like to move to a world where currency stabilization becomes a priority and central banker economic planning becomes a thing of the past. They are only in this for one reason and it is to enrich themselves and their friends in the banking community.

I think, but am not sure, that the current debate both in the SEC and the Consumer Protection Commission (?) as well as the Senate Finance Committee is how about how much power to lay/leave in the hands of the Big Banks. As there are are a lot of moving parts in this area reaching a consensus is not going to be easy--not to say we shouldn't try. i'm sure there is a lot of push back ot contend with.
