Pr = probability

Pr (System is reliable) = Pr (System does not fail), where fail = error.

1. As soon as someone mentions reliability, they are mentioning probability even though they may not know it.

2. As soon as probability is mentioned, the system has randomness. As soon as it has randomness, it cannot be deterministic.

3. Once we arrive at "it's random but not deterministic", then we have to figure out which kind of randomness is exhibited.

So you are saying finally, that we are dealing with random systems here. Not deterministic.
