j-- ScanDisk is the newer version of an old tool called Chkdsk (Checkdisk). Ah, as in DOS. Why do the Softies keep insisting taht Win95 is a new OS? I'll try it. Though I'll be really really scared. I once, many years ago, had Lost Clusters. It was an awful experience, though I did work through it in the end. But as I say, all I want to do is delete these three damned emails. And I can't. And now things are screwed up worse than they were before I tried to do it.... She whined... J
