It all sounds strange, but it really sounds like the wife & dad may have been the aggressors.

It doesn't sound like it from the 911 call:

Shellie Zimmerman's 911 call transcript.

911 Operator: 911 Police, Fire, Medical. We have unit surround him, is he still there?

Shellie: Yes he is and he's trying to shut the garage door on me.

911 Operator: Is he inside?

Shellie: No, he's he continually has his hand on his gun, and he keeps saying "step closer" and he's threating all us with his gun. (paause) Yes he's gonna shoot us.

911 operator: OK

Shellie: He punched my dad in the nose and my dad has a mark on his face. I saw his glasses fall were on the floor. And he accosted my father and took my iPad out of my hand and smashed it, cut it with a pocket knife. (deep sigh) And there is a married city worker across the street that I believe saw almost all of it. He's sitting in the truck(?) with me now. He just showed up here and my phone died, but my phone died and I had to call from my father's phone.

911 operator: Ok, that's what I was wondering. I was trying to get you back and it kept going to voice mail.

Shellie: Ugh

(talking over each other)

911 Operator: Alright (inaudible) in the area where your at. So just stay on the line with me.

Shellie: I'm really, really (inaudible) (pauses)

Shellie: Ok. (heavy stressed sigh) I don't know what he's capable of, I'm really really scared. (several heavy sighs)

911 Operator: There are multiple units in the area, alright. (inaudible crosstalk) Your name is Shellie right? What's the phone number you're calling on now?

Shellie: Oh no, the police are here.

911 Operator: Yeah what is the (inaudible) doing right now?

Shellie: He's in his truck, there are police here and weapons drawn.

911 Operator: (inaudible stutter) do you see them.

Shellie: I'm sorry

911 Operator: Do you see them? (yelling in the background)

Shellie: Uh, yeah, they're telling his bodyguards to get out of the way. (worried excited) Oh my God!, Dad! Dad! Get behind the car or something. I don't know if he's going to start shooting at us or not.

911 Operator: Are you standing outside right now?

Shellie: Yes, we are (inaudible)... Dad!, Get inside the house! George might start shooting at us. I don't know., we're going inside the house.

911 Operator: Ok, go back inside.

Shellie: Oh my god!

(some crosstalk)

911 Operator: Are you guys back inside?

Shellie: Yes

911 Operator: Stay inside and let the police take care of it.

Shellie: Ok, he's got his hands in the air, he's not touching his weapon.

911 Operator: Ok (cross talking), Does your father need medical?

Shellie: She says (pause) Dad do you need medical? He says, He says no, but I think he does. He does need medical, he's shaken, he feels like he's gonna have a heart attack. His nose... Yes you do because you nose look all... It could be broken. I think he should have medical. If you would have an ambulance come.

911 Operator: Sure, they won't be able to approach until the situation outside is secure.

Shellie: Ok, ok

911 Operator: Ok

Shellie: (panicked) Oh my god! Oh my god!

911 Operator: Ok.

(cross talking)

Shellie: (panicking) Oh my god! Oh my god!

911 Operator: You guys are safe inside correct?

Shellie: (crying) Yes.

911 Operator: Shellie you're doing really good, this is a tough situation for anybody. Stay on the line so our units can speak with you alright.

Shellie: Ok

911 Operator: Are you ok? You said he took something out of your hand. Do you need medical as well?

Shellie: Um, I don't think so. Maybe just shock.

911 Operator: Ok, ok, I'm gonna get EMT to respond, ok.

Shellie: Dad get inside right now.

911 Operator: Make sure he stays inside, until someone comes inside and let you know its ok to step out. Stay inside.

Shellie: Ok.

911 Operator: We're getting a (inaudible) to come to you. Like I said they can't come up to check on your father until they secure the scene. Ok.

Shellie: Ok, umm. (pause) Hold on one second.

911 Operator: Ok Shellie, take a couple of deep breaths for me, alright.

Shellie: Someone's in there.

911 operator: (inaudible)

Shellie: (gasping) There's a woman in there! Oh my gah! (other voice Shellie's father(?) Oh my!)

911 Operator: Shellie? (long pause) (garbled), are you 1025 with the complainant ... 1026.
