Wasn't looking for proof, Steve, just thought it would be nice, to put your testimony of something God did for you, on display. Mine wasn't so spectacular. I read a booklet that listed the Scriptures pertinent to the gift of speaking in tongues. It was a short little booklet. In conclusion it said something like, you ask Jesus to baptise you with the Holy Spirit and confirm it with the sign of the gift of speaking in tongues. You open your mouth and make a sound with your vocal cords, but let the Holy Spirit provide the words and sentences. It worked. So simple. But people, even one person getting saved is a miracle of more significant magnitudes. John
