tonto, it looks as Fed's Greenspan's statement," "Information technology, defined the current period. Something different had occurred. Computers and the Internet were at the root of the extraordinary productivity improvement. . . . Computers allowed vastly better inventory management in the way that had been unimaginable only years before. What was truly remarkable, however, was the vast dissemination throughout society of the new technology and the speed of dissemination. All of thei dissemination added productivity growth through out the economy. There was little question that further major advances lay ahead."

However, this statement was made when Clinton was in office and before Bush got us into the Iraq War to get back at Sadam for Sadam's putting a "contract," to kill, his Dad, Bush I, and the debt which followed from a decade of War.

What impact has and will have technology and robots have on displacement of manufacture and other workers now and in the the future? Did any of you see 6o minutes of TV this Sunday regarding the evolving of Robots? It was very interesting!
