Really? Your "here's the full picture" is to put up a chart with the range 1978 to 2012?!!! Polar ice has been advancing and retreating for the better part of 3 billion years. Your "full picture" represents 0.0000000113 percent of the actual full picture. You are aware that much greater forces than puny humankind are acting upon our little blue planet, no?
