Putin doesn't want to stare Obama down over Syria, right before his Olympics, so he told Syria to accept Kerry's blurted "solution". It's a win-win, Dave, and Obama, who had misjudged America's tolerance for foreign adventures following Iraq, saw it immediately and seized it. To bad for your team - you actually thought Putin was on YOUR side!
