802.11ac is backward compatible with all the older wifi. ARRS ARRD wifi is 802.11n and 802.11ac at home using edgeqam ethernet at the cable plant. Some smaller customers in European countries are converting to wifi for their cable or paid tV services. This will enable larger customers to change soon. This looks like a nice move to $20/share soon too.
