Nokia and Telefónica today announced an exclusive partnership to offer a 64GB variant of the Nokia Lumia 1020 - allowing people to capture and share even more stunning pictures with the best smartphone camera, on the fastest 4G networks. Running Windows Phone 8, the Nokia Lumia 1020 64GB will be available on the O2 network in the UK, Czech Republic and Germany, the Vivo Network in Brazil, and the Movistar networks in Spain, Chile, Mexico, plus others.

To help people take better pictures with ease, a new application called Nokia Pro Camera boosts creativity with the versatility to capture more of the moment and then tweak, edit and reframe the perfect shot later. With a simple to use interface that visually demonstrates how settings will affect the final photo or video, Nokia Pro Camera simplifies features usually reserved for professional cameras and teaches users how to take superior photos.
The Telefónica 64GB exclusive stores over 3,000 high-res (16MB) pictures, whilst offering more space for the 175,000 apps available on the Windows Phone Store. The personal nature of Windows Phone makes it the perfect platform for the Nokia Lumia 1020 64GB, showcasing live images on the Start screen with the Photos tile, quick sharing to social networks, and easy access to files across a number of devices with SkyDrive Cloud services, accessible in real time with Telefónica’s 4G network.

The new Nokia Lumia 1020 64GB will be available in Germany today, starting at 19€ upfront and 27.50€ per month with MyHandy. In the UK, pre-orders will begin today starting at £0 upfront and £37/month on O2 refresh with a bonus accessories kit worth over £200. In Spain and Brazil, the Nokia Lumia 1020 64GB will be launching in October, with offers starting at 24€/month in Spain and competitive pricing on pre-orders in Brazil.
