Mesopotamian...from Ur...Shalom just explained that all to me a week or so ago...my question to him was whether or not Abraham actually existed or was a "eponymous" figure. Many believe Abraham to be a mythical figure in history to represent the longing of a group of people to migrate to another land, crossing over water and establishing a "home" for themselves....a Hebrew.
