The bailer-outers have left us with a buying opp. The point of the merger was to add value through vertical integration of technologies. There should be synergistic effects. It is not a matter of whose product pipeline is closer to market. It is creating new integrated research capabilities which will bring in new research contracts. The other comments about difficulties with two separate facilities show how little vision and understanding of the research business these faint of heart investors have. The most succesful companies (eg GE) have world-wide facilities and conduct projects on a 24 hr. round the world basis. Give me a break. David
