"What they realize is that higher pay makes their job worth less than the technology that can replace them." I have yet to see any robot McDonald's, Dave. I'm sure we'll have software accountants first. I predict all rote brain jobs will be replaced by software before manual jobs. It's already happening. Remember tax preparers? I just did a will with software - it used to take a lawyer! Corporations will begin replacing their higher labor cost salaried employees firs.
