Replace the evolution with the word gravity and see how silly this attempt at demonizing sounds. Also there isn’t really any other ideas that compete with the theory of evolution. Lamarckian was debunked long ago.

Sounds like the crazy book this fool is writing from here, does it have dragons, demons, wizards & angels from revelations too? Atheism and nihilism are separate things, its quite uncommon to find an atheist who is also a nihilist. We can just point to young earth creationists who say things like the Loch Ness monster is real and that somehow disproves evolution as a contradiction to that.

Actually your religion does conflict science or you wouldn't be here whining so much. Faith is the anti-thesis to science, faith is belief in things unproven, science is the thirst to observe, learn and prove things real & repeatable. Christians do not have facts and science on their side. This ranter may want to do a bit more research on Copernicus and Galileo, which were both labeled as heretics for their findings and one was almost excommunicated from the church, the other his book came out after his death. |
