But the wealthy hate wage inflation, and certain people seethe with rage here at the thought of anybody getting anything more than they already have. The great thing about raising the minimum wage is that it cascades up. The person that was making, say, double the minimum will also get more money, because he will have so many equal paying opportunities. It really is the simple solution to income disparity, government "welfare" payments, and the budget deficit. Would probably suck for my dividend stocks though <g>.
