As I previously explained, this is not at all what's happening here. Both are lucky to have jobs. But if it were that simple, Walmart would not be able to find employees because they would all be working at CostCo.

You miss the most important point entirely. Costco chooses to have a lesser profit margin for the better good. Its a conscious decision that they have made because they know that what's good for the culture in general will be, in the end, good for Costco. Wal Mart is only concerned about its profits and its shareholders.........and it shows. Hence there is little employee and customer loyalty. And that attitude is starting to hurt them where it is most painful for them......in their revenue growth and profits.

Costco's business model is a perspective you refuse to try to understand. And that is what is wrong with conservatism............an ideology predicated on arrogance and narcissism. Arrogance/ego because it can't ever imagine being infallible or vulnerable or dependent even though that is very much a part of the human condition. Narcissism because it has no interest in the greater good other than the danger that precept might present to a conservative's net worth.

For a long time, you were able to advance even with these negative traits by appealing to the greed of the average American and promising lower taxes. Fortunately, Americans are finally onto the scam and its only by gerrymandering that Rs able to hold onto power. The spiral downward continues..............
