Since we already have relatively satisfying naturalistic hypotheses – on everything from the origin of the cosmos to the origin of life to whatever order we see – all supernatural hypotheses become redundant. It is incumbent upon the religious believer to demonstrate why his particular version merits being an exception.

Exactly right again, belief can easily be shown to be pure socialization/indoctrination event, the devils must really got hold of you now. And that little detail only shows for the last 10,000 yrs we have observed a parade of many gods, deities always going "poof" or being modified at a fairly predictable & understandable rate.
* You would be far better advised to employ your love & time figuring out ways of saving real live children, elephants & rhinos in Africa, than trying to save another supernatural diety, in a long line of gods & their clones, from extinction.
