Apple's iPhone sales seemed like a barbell previously with both the 4 and the 5 more popular than the $100 4S...I think that gets more top heavy over the next year.

I would have guessed the same, but according to Horace Dediu, the middle Is actually fatter than the low end, historically. I don't know where his data comes from-- just "made up numbers," most likely, so take it with a grain of salt.
