There were a lot of black cops and Swat members there.
Yes, I'm sure there were, but the question is, "How many were legitimate police officers and SWAT members and how many were affirmative action hires like in Dayton, Ohio and numerous other cities across the nation?

The appalling story below involves Dayton, Ohio, but the same disgrace has happened in numerous cities all across the United States. When Blacks cannot meet the standards, standards are waived on the basis of race. To wit, diversity is valued far more than public safety or even fair and honest hiring practices.

Or maybe it's a double edge sword now, where officials know that if they don't rubber-stamp the Black applicants and allow them to pretend to be cops and draw a salary, some of them just might become the next Aaron Alexis. So, in a manner of speaking, maybe they are looking out for public safety after all.

Regardless, waivers are not granted to Whites; only Blacks. So, again I ask, how many of the Black respondents yesterday were legitimate and how many were affirmative action hires who failed to meet the occupational hiring standards?

City agrees to lower test scores for police exam

excerpt:

DAYTON — The city’s Civil Service Board and the U.S. Department of Justice have agreed on a lower passing score for the police recruit exam after it was rejected because not enough blacks passed the exam.

The city lowered both written exams a combined 15 points that resulted in 258 more people passing the exam, according to a statement released Thursday by Civil Service officials. The agreement allows the city to immediately resume its plans to hire police and firefighters.
