Corel Announces OEM Deal with Lap Power AB of Sweden

Ottawa, Canada - November 24, 1997 - Corel Corporation, award-winning developer and marketer of graphics, business and Internet applications today announced a deal with Lap Power AB to bundle OEM versions of CorelDRAW 6 Swedish on all PCs sold in Sweden. Lap Power AB is one of Sweden's largest manufacture retail stores with more than 20 chain stores. Lap Power AB was named the fastest growing corporation in Sweden for the 5-year periods 1990 - 1995 and 1991 - 1996 by Svenska Dagbladet, one of Sweden's largest daily newspapers.

Told og Skat Upgrades to Corel WordPerfect Suite 8

Ottawa, Canada - November 26, 1997 - Corel Corporation, global developer and marketer of business productivity applications and graphics software, announced today that Told og Skat has purchased Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 as its new software package. The 5,000 seat agreement will upgrade all computers, most of which are currently running WordPerfect 6.1 from Novell.

Told og Skat has been happy with Corel products in the past but waited to see the quality of Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 before awarding the contract. Told og Skat was also impressed with Corel's low-cost licensing alternatives for large organizations.

"This agreement shows that the market place is recognizing Corel's
efforts," said Dr. Michael Cowpland president and chief executive
officer of Corel Corporation. "Deals like this illustrate the quality of Corel WordPerfect Suite and more corporate customers will be
standardizing on Corel WordPerfect the world over."

"We have used WordPerfect for many years, but we were a little
unsure of WordPerfect's future when Corel bought the product" says
Ole Helsted, office manager for Told og Skat's computer department.
You can clearly see that Corel is dedicated to WordPerfect and the
new Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 has many functions that we are interested in, for example that it can convert a text file to HTML and
this will help us with our intranet strategy."

Casino to Bundle Corel Products

Ottawa, Canada- December 2, 1997- Corel Corporation, global developer and marketer of business productivity applications and graphics software, today announced a software bundling agreement with Casino. The fifth largest retail distribution chain in France - worth 77 billion francs annually - Casino will bundle the OEM French version of Corel WordPerfect Suite 7 on PCs and include the multilingual version of CorelDRAW 5 with all printers sold. Casino has 3,500 large and extra large stores in France.

"We are very pleased that Casino is bundling both our business applications and our graphics software, said Dr. Michael Cowpland,

such as this demonstrate to customers that Corel provides a total

Corel's market cap as of today is 136 million US. Citrix has a market cap of 2.4 billion US.

Remagen (Connexus) will be a similar product to that of Citrix WinFrame but will be faster and priced more aggresively.
