One of the problems with addressing this issue of sexual abuse was that it was in a category that was socially unspeakable, secretive & kept taboo, all due originally to folks just like you. As far as i can tell, Dawkins just gave it more coverage,took the step to draw his light to a subject people like you would rather sweep under tables.
