I'm starting to agree with you.

We need two health care systems domains: One for people who don't want to pay for profits. The other for people who understand that every single thing that makes health care work is there because of profits.

So, you can have the profitless system.

You'll need to give up a few things, though --

- Access to imaging devices and methods other than X-rays, which we're going to give to you free.
- Access to all life-saving drugs developed in the last 15 years. The others, you can have at nominal cost.
- Access to modern day joint replacements, analgesics, anesthesia (you can keep Ether)
- Access to cancer treatment drugs developed in the last 15 years.
- Recent surgical techniques will be in our domain, as will all surgeons who seek to make a profit.
- There are numerous new lab tests created by profit-seeking entities. You can't have any of those. We will permit you have CBCs and dipstick urines, though (even though there is profit on these, we're kind hearted).
- Emergency rooms and all outpatient facilities are ours, as are Cardiology offices that offer procedures.
- You can have as many nurse practitioners as you want; while they're in it for the money, they want less money than doctors.

Let me know what you think.
