Given your three scenarios, the only one that makes sense (for you) to sell is #2 -- a decline. Given that we are in the run-up to earnings announcements, and the industry still looks very strong here, what's the likelihood of a sideways drift? Particularly after the corection.

FWIW, several (BIGJET et al) on the AOL thread hypothesize a "quarterly effect" in which prices move strongly up in the month (i.e., starting around Dec 10 or so) prior to announcements. It seems to have occurred over the last 8 quarters.
