The burden of proof is on the extreme claim, esp. the extreme claim that is calling for major and extremely expensive action.

Anthropocentric global warming isn't an extreme claim.

Major anthropocentric global warming disaster scenarios if we don't eliminate somewhere between a strong majority and almost all human emission of CO2 in a few years to a couple of decades, combined with the belief that we can reasonably easily do so and if we do there won't be the disaster is a rather extreme claim, and one with rather thin evidence to support it.
