Do you really believe that timing is that critical? It seems in all my deals, a day or two delay in buying wouldn't have made that much difference. Remember, I am a long-term investor.

I really don't think I could have duplicated my broker's efforts without quitting my clients and spending a disproportionate amount of time on research. I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to have someone who spends countless hours doing research and then distills and provides me the essence of the details for me to make an informed decision. I am time limited so what she does for me is extremely valuable.

I disagree. I don't think you can find the same info by surfing around. I think you would need to do full-time research over a period of time to have the information that my broker has. I didn't see the type of information being posted to the thread that my broker was giving me. That is why I joined SI, to provide information to the thread that nobody else was providing.
