<<Ken, don't they call those people conservatives? (:>)>>

Actually I love political discussion almost as much as discussion of the fascinating biotechnology business. I'm much more of a "rip it all down!" libertarian today than a conservative (that, IMO, will be the focus of political debate in the coming century). But I won't digress further, since here on the biotech threads, we have much work to do (like making a s--tload of money). I haven't spent much time in the backwaters of SI, but perhaps there's a political thread there. The diversity of views among biotech investors has to be awsome.

The unanswered question is what this unhappy investor has to gain from such an announcement. Neither a proxy fight or lawsuit would probably get anywhere, so what's he up to that would improve his position?

(BTW: The contemporary reactionaries seem to be socialists and welfare-statists scratching to preserve old empires against the changing currents of world opinion. "Rip it all down!!")(:->)
