Bill, thanks for your response though I needed a magnifying glass to read it. Check your fonts. To all, It doesn't matter who buys who to get their basic foot print in the local market. They all need a foot print in order to expand but they would all do well with WCII or any other prospering wireless CO to expand. GTE and TCGI are great as is MCIand Brooks but to expand rapidly you need multiples of wireless air waves and that will not come cheap. I'm sure Bill R. could have sold for 40-50 but why do it when they are going to come to you anyway. The people on this board have the insight as to where this technology is going just as the CEO has and the longer he holds out the better. The Broadband business of this world will be made up of a combination of services only one of which will be wireless. Existing cable, fiber and wireless will be the cheapest. You need to own a piece of all of them to carry out the grand plan. WCII will be a part of somebodies plan but it has yet to be determined who's. Needless to say you must first own the cable or fiber footprint in order to expand. That is what is going on now. Wireless is next and in my opinion is not far off in the future. This business will probably be valued on channel pop as well as channel pop per city ranking and WCII has one of the best rankings for this type of value. Buy on dips and don't sell until the lady sings the BLUES! See Ya and Good luck!! Ric D.
